RAJASTHAN HERITAGE TOUR

Day 1: Arrive in Jaipur
On arrival meet & assist at Jaipur International airport by our company representative, who will brief you about your trip “Rajasthan Heritage Tour”. Transfer to hotel for check-in.  Jaipur - one of the most prominent cities of Rajasthan Western state of India, is popularly known as the pink city. The city was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727.  Jaipur completes the most popular tourist circuit in India along with Delhi & Agra.

Afternoon enjoys a drive through the Johari Bazaar to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), and visit the various museums inside the City Palace and the ancient observatory, Jantar Mantar.  Evening explores a colorful bazaar.

Day 2: Jaipur – Shikhawati – Bikaner by drive
Post breakfast depart to Shekhawati by road (4hrs. approx.), on arrival explore Cenotaphs, beautifully painted Havelis, Stepwells, and old streets in this region of Rajasthan. Continue your drive to Bikaner. On arrival visit Camel breeding farm just before Bikaner. Proceed to the hotel for check-in.

Day 3 : Bikaner – Jaisalmer by drive
Post breakfast visits the fabulous Junagarh Fort and Lalgarh Palace. Now proceed to Jaiselmer by road (6hrs. approx.). Have lunch on the way (packed lunch), en-route visit Kheechan with its hoards of cranes. Before Sunset reaches Jaiselmer to catch the glimpse of the setting sun on the Golden Fort. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 4: Jaisalmer tour
Post breakfast visit Jaisalmer Fort & Museum. Now visit Jain Temple, and take a walk through the back streets to the Patwon ki Haveli and Kothari Haveli. After lunch proceed to Kuldhera, an abandoned habitation, and now head to Sam Sand Dunes. Ride on Camel and experience the haunting magic of the tale of Dhola Maru, in the desert city of Rajasthan.

Day 5: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur by drive
Post breakfast leaves for Jodhpur - the Sun City, en-route visit Pokhran. Watch out for deers on the way in the Bishnoi villages, by afternoon reach Jodhpur.  Now time to visit the city, covering Mehrangarh Fort one of the most awe-inspiring forts in Rajasthan. Enjoy the amazing view of Jodhpur’s blue houses and sunset from the top of the Fort.  Also, visit Jaswant Thada and Ummed Bhawan (only from the outside). Proceed to the hotel for check-in.

Day 6: Jodhpur – Mount Abu by drive
Post breakfast heads towards Mount Abu by road (4.5hrs. approx.) the only hill station of the Rajasthan en-route visit Ranakpur Temple - one of the five holy centers of the Jain community. It was built in the 15th century. Spread over 48000 sq ft, the temple is an outstanding creation with 29 halls and 1444 pillars all distinctly carved with light color marble. The temple has an intrinsic architecture & is also famous for erotic arts on the wall. Continue to drive to Mount Abu. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later Enjoy Sunset Point and Nakki Lake in the evening.

Day 7: Mount Abu – Udaipur by drive
Post breakfast explores local surroundings and visits Dilwara Temples & Brahmakumari Ashrams.  Leave for Udaipur after lunch by road (3hrs. approx.).  On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure or exploring the local bazaar.

Udaipur -is the most romantic and charming city in Western State Rajasthan, India.  The city was founded by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1559 AD on the shore of Lake Pichhola. Fairy-tale Palaces and gardens, temples, and narrow lanes create a picture-perfect atmosphere.

Day 8: Udaipur tour
Post breakfast you are scheduled for a full-day city tour visit City Palace- it was built by the Maharana Udai Singh in 1559, Saheliyon ki Bari (Gardens of the maids of Honor) and Museum,  Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal & Shilpgram.  Next is a boat ride at Pichhola lake (Optional) and an evening folk dance show at “Bagore ki Haveli (19.00 – 20.00 hrs. each evening) – optional.

Day 9: Udaipur – Pushkar – Jaipur by drive
Post breakfast leaves for Jaipur by road (8hrs. approx.) En route visit, Pushkar, see the Holy Lake and also visit the only Temple of Lord Brahma in the World. Pushkar is also famous for rose cultivation, pay a visit to Rose Farm. Proceed to Jaipur, on arrival check-in at the hotel.  Evening free at leisure.

Day 10: Jaipur Departure
On the last day of your Rajasthan trip, visit the magnificent Amber Palace in the early morning. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back & enjoy the ride.  This Fort is situated on hilltop, about 11 km away from Jaipur city. 

Now transfer to airport to board the flight for onwards journey.
